Tomball, TX – One Killed in House Explosion on Vernon St
Tomball, TX (December 10, 2020) – An explosion incident reported on the Tomball area claimed one person’s life. At around 11:15 p.m., on December 9, the Tomball Fire Department responded to the site of an explosion incident on Vernon Street.
Reports from authorities show that a home exploded in the 200 block during the evening hours. The impact of the blast blew the roof off the home before it burst into flames. Firefighters arrived at the scene and began to battle the blaze aggressively. One person was inside the home at the time of the incident. The victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
