Anya L. Pardy practices in the areas of construction law and commercial litigation. She represents Associations and homeowners in disputes involving single family homes, condominiums, and commercial and retail spaces.

Anya graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in social relations and policy, earning the Outstanding Student Award in the field of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Anya graduated cum laude with honors from Stetson University College of Law. During her time at Stetson, she was inducted as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, was a Senior Associate for Stetson Law Review, and was a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board. Anya also served as a Summer Law Fellow with the Stetson Veterans Law Institute, as Judicial Practice Teacher’s Assistant to Professor Louis J. Virelli, and as Legal Intern for the United States Department of Homeland Security, and as Judicial Intern to the Honorable Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell with the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. Upon graduation, she was awarded with the Victor O. Wehle Award as an Outstanding Student in Trial Advocacy, the Diaco Law Book Award, the Honors Program Award, the Veterans Law Institute Award, the G. Kirk Hass Humanitarian Award, and the William Blews Award for Pro Bono Service.

Anya gained valuable experience working as a summer associate, law clerk, and as an attorney at a boutique construction litigation firm, by defending an array of complex construction defect cases across the state of Florida. She is excited to have joined Burg Simpson and is using her unique experience to protect the property rights of homeowners and Associations.

Anya is a strong and passionate advocate. Both during and prior to law school, Anya worked as an advocate for foster children and teens, a cause to which she remains devoted. Outside of the office, she enjoys movie outdoor nights with her husband and children, as well as paddleboarding and hiking with her adorable goldendoodle.
