Eduardo R. Parra
Eduardo R. Parra is an experienced attorney with a proven track record of success. He brings a diversity of knowledge of Arizona law and trial experience to the field of civil litigation. With a background spanning both criminal prosecution and civil defense, Mr. Parra offers a unique perspective and invaluable insights into the legal process.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Parra served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Liability Management Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where he was entrusted with defending the Arizona Department of Transportation in high-stakes lawsuits, managing a diverse caseload of over 30 active matters with damages exceeding $100 million collectively.
Prior to defending the Arizona Department of Transportation, Mr. Parra distinguished himself as a prosecutor in the Drug and Racketeering Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. During this time, Mr. Parra successfully prosecuted multi-level drug trafficking organizations, securing convictions in high-profile cases involving conspiracy, narcotic sales, and money laundering offenses. His dedication to justice was evident in his meticulous preparation, which included overseeing complex wiretap investigations leading to significant seizures of illegal drugs.
Mr. Parra started his career as a Deputy County Attorney in the Mohave County Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases related to narcotics, DUIs, domestic violence, and assaults. His experience and fearlessness in conducting numerous jury trials underscored his commitment to upholding the law and seeking justice for victims.
Mr. Parra is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona and holds a Juris Doctor from The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Arizona State University.
