Jessica L. Breuer
Jessica L. Breuer is a shareholder in Burg Simpson’s Litigation Department, where she aggressively represents clients in complex cases involving serious personal injuries, collisions, product liability, premises liability, and civil rights violations. She is dedicated to advocating for individuals harmed by negligence, dangerous products, unsafe property conditions, and violations of their constitutional rights. Her practice focuses on holding powerful corporations, insurance companies, and institutions accountable, ensuring that her clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
Ms. Breuer is particularly passionate about protecting the rights of people with disabilities. She pursues claims involving discrimination and violations of students’ rights under federal and state law. This commitment is deeply personal — her husband owns a healthcare clinic dedicated to providing dental care to individuals with special needs, and together they share a dedication to ensuring that people with disabilities are treated with dignity, equity, and respect in every aspect of their lives.
Originally from the Midwest, Ms. Breuer earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence, Kansas. Ms. Breuer is admitted to practice in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized by her peers, as shown by her selection to Colorado Super Lawyers® Rising Stars, Colorado Super Lawyers®, Top 40 Under 40, and her inclusion in Best Lawyers® in America.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Breuer is actively involved in the legal community. She has served on the Arapahoe County Bar Association Board and has contributed to legal scholarship, including authoring an article on discovery rules in Trial Magazine and co-authoring an article on short-term healthcare insurance in Trial Talk.
At Burg Simpson, Ms. Breuer leverages the firm’s extensive resources and national reach to champion the rights of the injured and marginalized. Her unwavering dedication to her clients — from catastrophic injury victims to families fighting for their children’s right to an equal education — and her fearless approach to litigation embody the firm’s mission: Good Lawyers.
