Cassie M. Dufon
Associate Cassie M. Dufon’s practice is focused on construction defect litigation. Ms. Dufon received her J.D. along with a Certificate in Litigation and Trial Advocacy with a concentration in Civil Litigation, from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
While at the University of Denver, Ms. Dufon was a member of the esteemed National Trial Team, ranked #6 in the United States. As part of this select team, Ms. Dufon travelled the country and competed in numerous trial competitions. She has gained recognition for her advocacy skills and has received awards for Best Advocate and Best Witness, along with placing as a National Finalist in the National Trial League Competition (2024). Additionally, Ms. Dufon was a Board Member for the Student Trial Lawyers Association, and a Member of the First-Generation Law Students Association. During her law school years, Ms. Dufon worked as a Law Clerk at a Construction Law Firm and gained valuable knowledge of the legal process.
Prior to law school, Ms. Dufon worked for a Design/Build General Contractor in Denver, CO, where she gained extensive experience in the field of construction including Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, Entertainment, Office, and Warehouse builds. Ms. Dufon obtained her B.A. in Government from Suffolk University Boston (2018). She graduated a year early and with the honor of cum laude.
