Hailey S.M. Black
Ms. Black is an associate attorney with Burg Simpson’s Medical Malpractice Department. Ms. Black obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2022. While attending the University of Denver, Ms. Black was a member of the public good program and served as an orientation leader. Ms. Black spent a year interning for the Honorable Ann Gail Meinster in the Jefferson County juvenile courts. Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Ms. Black worked at a firm which specialized in representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Black obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and Bachelor of Social work from Colorado State University in 2019. While attending Colorado State University, Ms. Black was a member of the Golden Poms dance team and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
In her spare time, Ms. Black can be found coaching at the dance studio, working out at Orange Theory, walking with her adorable Schnoodle, Poppy, or watching Netflix with her fiancé. Ms. Black loves Sudoku, true crime podcasts, and cheering on all the Denver sports teams!
