J. John Steele
J. John Steele’s practice is focused on personal injury litigation. Mr. Steele obtained his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he consistently held a position among the top three students in his class.
During his tenure at the University of Denver, Mr. Steele was an esteemed member of the National Trial Team for two years, representing the university in competitions across the nation. His exceptional advocacy skills were recognized with the “Rising Star” award from the University of Denver Center for Advocacy.
In addition to his advocacy work, Mr. Steele contributed to the academic community as an editor for the Denver Law Review. His comprehensive understanding of the law and dedication to his field make him a formidable presence in the courtroom and a strong advocate for his clients.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Steele had an extensive 25-year career in the field of software development, where he excelled as both an engineer and an executive. He demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding and operating a business that specialized in creating custom software solutions for early-stage startups.
At the height of its success, the business thrived under his leadership with a team of 40 employees. Mr. Steele’s extensive experience in the business and technology sectors now informs his legal practice, providing him with a distinctive perspective and valuable expertise. This diverse background allows him to approach legal issues with a broader understanding and a unique problem-solving perspective.
