Fort Collins, CO (August 24, 2021) – The Fort Collins Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash that ended in injuries. At approximately 4:48 p.m., on August 23, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on South Shields Street.
Reports from local news sources indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked South Shields Street at the intersection of West Plum Street during the evening hours. The incident prompted crews to remain on-site for over 40-minutes as they worked to clear the roadway. One EMS with the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital responded to the scene to render aid to victims and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
