Cherry Hills Village, CO (July 27, 2021) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident on Monday evening that caused major delays in the area while sending at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 6:34 p.m., on July 26, the South Metro Fire Rescue was notified that a crash on South University Boulevard required assistance.
The police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and went to work immediately on securing and clearing the roadway. Crews spent over five hours at the scene as they worked to restore the flow of traffic. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat victims and provide those in need of further care with transportation to area hospitals.
