Arapahoe, CO (May 4, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a boat accident in Arapahoe County on Sunday. On May 2, emergency crews were called to the scene of a boat accident on Cherry Creek Reservoir.

According to reports, a 26-year-old man was using a kayak at the Cherry Creek Reservoir when his vehicle capsized around noon on Sunday. Crews responded to the scene and spent hours trying to locate the man who was missing off the shore. After a few hours, the man was located deceased. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
