Boulder, CO – Paraglider Killed in Crash near 119th St and Arapahoe Rd
Boulder, CO (April 5, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a paraglider accident in Boulder County on Saturday afternoon. On April 3, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place off 119th Street.
Reports from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office show that just after 6 p.m., they were notified that a paraglider being operated by an adult male crashed in a field near the intersection of 119th Street and Arapahoe Road. The man utilizing the equipment was unresponsive at the scene. When crews arrived, he was pronounced deceased due to his injuries. At this time, investigations to determine the cause of the crash are underway.
