Arapahoe, CO (March 14, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident in the Unincorporated Arapahoe area ended in injuries. At approximately 5:37 a.m., on March 13, the South Metro Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 470.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between motor vehicles took place on the southbound side of the interstate near mile marker 14. The incident blocked the roadway, causing moderate delays. Police and firefighters remained at the scene for over 50-minutes as they worked to clear the vehicles and debris from the roadway. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The cause of the collision remains under investigation with the police at this time.
