Platteville, CO – Two Men Killed in Car Crash on Weld County Road 38.5

Platteville, CO (February 13, 2021) – An auto accident reported n Weld County on Wednesday evening claimed the lives of two people. Just after 6 p.m., on February 11, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Weld County Road 38.5

Reports from the police show that a 53-year-old male was driving on County Road 38.5 toward Thornton when his vehicle was struck by a second vehicle near Highway 60, which was driven by a 35-year-old male. The two drivers were fatally injured. A third vehicle became involved in the collision. However, the driver was not injured. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
