Divide, CO (October 28, 2020) – A fire incident on Monday sent two people to local hospitals with injuries. At approximately 2:30 p.m., on October 26, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office responded to the site of a fire incident with local firefighters.
Reports show that a home located on Will Scarlet Drive in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood caught on fire during the late afternoon for unknown reasons. The fire quickly spread throughout the home, causing severe damage. Two people in the home were injured. One victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious burn injuries. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
