Thornton, CO (September 28, 2020) – A vehicle collision on Saturday evening claimed the lives of two people in the Thornton area. Just before 8 p.m., on September 26, the Thornton Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Washington Street.

Reports show that a man and his wife were traveling east down 104th Street on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when they were struck by a vehicle exiting an adjacent parking lot at the intersection with Washington Street. Both riders on the motorcycle were fatally injured in the accident. Crews immediately declared the victims deceased at the scene and secured the area to investigate. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are ongoing.
