Aurora, CO (September 4, 2020) – A fire incident in Aurora sent two people to local hospitals early Thursday morning. On September 3, the Aurora Fire Department and police responded to the site of a fire incident on East Colfax Avenue (US-40).

Reports provided by authorities show that a fire broke out in an apartment complex located near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Airport Boulevard for unknown reasons. The fire resulted in extreme damages to several units in the complex. Two people in the two-story complex building sustained injuries. Both victims were hospitalized immediately following the incident. Crews were able to take control of the fire and are investigating to determine the cause.
