Fort Collins, CO (Aug. 1, 2020) – An early-morning crash left at least one person injured in the Fort Collins area on Saturday. Just after 6:30 a.m., on August 1, the Fort Collins Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on West County Road 38 East.
Reports provided by firefighters with the Poudre Fire Authority show that a collision involving motor vehicles occurred in the 3600 block of West County Road 38 East for unknown reasons. The crash resulted in traffic delays as it prompted responding crews to remain at the scene for over thirty minutes. One ambulance from UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital transported those in need of medical treatment to area hospitals after rendering aid at the scene. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
