Florissant, CO (August 17, 2020) – A multi-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon claimed the lives of two victims. Just after 2 p.m., on August 16, the Colorado State Patrol received a request for assistance on US Highway 24.

Reports provided by local news sources show that a Harley Davidson was driving east on US Highway 24 when it collided with a Toyota FJ Cruiser. The impact of the crash sent the motorcycle across the road where it crashed into a Dodge Ram 1500. The Dodge continued forward and crashed into a 1998 Dodge Ram. A fifth vehicle was hit by debris. Two people involved in the crash, the 59-year-old male rider on the motorcycle and his 65-year-old passenger were both ejected from the vehicle. The two victims were killed instantly in the crash. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of both victims who lost their lives in this accident. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
