Colorado Springs, CO – One Killed in Crash near Bott Ave
Colorado Springs, CO (August 24, 2020) – A motor vehicle collision reported in the Colorado Springs area has claimed the life of one victim early on Sunday morning. At around 12:15 a.m., on August 23, officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near Bott Avenue.
Reports provided by the police show that a serious crash took place in the 1000 block of South 21st Street near the intersection with Bott Avenue. The crash claimed one person’s life. Authorities responding to the scene immediately declared one person deceased. A second victim sustained serious injuries. The victim was rendered aid at the scene and rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Policed closed off 21st Street between Bott Avenue and Broadway as the Major Crash Team with the Colorado Springs Police Department investigated.
