Frisco, CO – Accident on I-70 Leaves Bicyclist Injured
Frisco, CO (July 4, 2020) – An automobile accident in Summit County left one victim seriously injured, according to reports. At approximately 9:30 a.m., on July 4, the Summit County Fire and Troopers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 6 (Interstate 70).
Reports from the SCF show that a 52-year-old man was riding his bicycle along the eastbound shoulder of the highway, near milepost 221, when he was struck by a Ford Explorer. The man suffered critical injuries in the accident. He was rushed from the scene of the crash to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
