Fort Collins, CO – Car Accident on CO-1 Results in Injuries

Fort Collins, CO (July 15, 2020) – Several emergency crews responded to the site of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday that resulted in extensive delays and injuries. Just before 7:30 a.m., on July 15, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North Colorado State Highway 1.

Reports from the Poudre Fire Authority show that a collision involving motor vehicles occurred on the highway near the area of East County Road 54. PFA and the Fort Collins Police Department spent nearly 1.5 hours at the site of the crash securing the area and rendering treatment to injured victims. One ambulance from the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital responded to the scene to transport injured victims to area hospitals for further medical treatment. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by the police in Fort Collins.
