Colorado Springs, CO (July 11, 2020) – A serious crash late Friday evening resulted in injuries and delays in Colorado Springs. At approximately 11 p.m., on July 10, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Academy Boulevard.

According to reports, a pickup truck and two other vehicles collided on North Academy Boulevard at the intersection with Maizeland Road. The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to roll over and come to a rest on its roof on Maizeland Road. Injuries were reported in this accident. An unknown number of victims were transported from the scene of the accident to area hospitals for further treatment. At this time, police in Colorado Springs are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
