Baca County, CO – One Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on US-287
Baca County, CO (July 31, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Baca County left one person seriously injured. On July 30, the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle crash involving several vehicles on US Highway 287.
Reports provided by CSP show that at approximately 2 p.m., a northbound vehicle collided with a semi-truck and a pickup truck. The impact of the collision caused the northbound vehicle to go off the roadway and rollover four times. The driver of the northbound vehicles sustained critical injuries in the accident. The victim was airlifted from the site of the crash to the Swedish Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
