Westcliffe, CO – Pedestrian Struck & Killed by Vehicle on Main St
Westcliffe, CO (June 20, 2020) – An automobile accident in the Westcliffe area claimed one man’s life on Thursday, according to reports. On June 18, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Main Street.
Reports show that a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle along the road. The victim sustained critical injuries in the accident. The victim was awake when EMS arrived but quickly lost consciousness. EMS crews attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. The injured male passed away from his injuries. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
