Mancos, CO – Woman Injured in Explosion on Forest Service Rd 566
Mancos, CO (June 1, 2020) – An explosion on Thursday left one woman injured in the San Juan National Forest.
At around 4 a.m., on May 21, the Mancos Fire Department responded to the scene of an incident on Forest Services Road 566.
Reports show that a female was inside a camper near the national forest when it exploded. The woman suffered critical injuries and was airlifted from the scene of the accident via Flight for Life to Mercy Regional Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
