Fort Collins, CO (June 28, 2020) – At midnight, on June 28, the Fort Collins Police Department, Poudre Fire Authority, and various emergency crews in the area responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on South Shields Street.

Reports from the police show that a collision involving motor vehicles occurred on South Shields Street at the intersection with West Harmony Road. Crews spent hours at the scene of the accident rendering medical treatment to injured victims and clearing debris from the road. At least one victim injured in this accident was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, police are investigating the cause of the crash.
