Kiowa County, CO – Teen Killed in Crash on County Rd 78
Kiowa County, CO (May 31, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Saturday claimed one teen’s life in Kiowa County.
At around 5:30 a.m., on May 30, the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Kiowa County Road 78.
Reports show that a 14-year-old teen was driving a car along the roadway when the vehicle became involved in a collision. The vehicle then rolled over, ejecting three passengers from the vehicle.
A 15-year-old teen, who was ejected, suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver and two passengers were all transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
