Huerfano County, CO – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on CO-160
Huerfano County, CO (May 29, 2020) – On May 25, the Colorado State Patrol was called to the scene of an accident on Highway 160. Reports show that a 2012 Ford Expedition was traveling east along the highway when it crossed over the center line and struck a 2015 Hyundai Veloster head-on near mile marker 282.
The driver of the Ford, identified as a 67-year-old woman, was seriously injured and flown to a hospital in Pueblo for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Veloster, who was identified as a 41-year-old man, was ejected from his vehicle. The man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
