The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) has re-nominated Attorney Nelson Boyle to stand for election to its Board of Directors. CTLA Board Elections will occur in from July 12-22, 2019, and the CTLA will announce the results at its August 2019 Annual Convention. Boyle first served two terms on CTLA’s Board from 2009-2013 and has served another two terms from 2015-2019. In 2018, CTLA named Boyle as Chair Emeritus of its Amicus Curiae Committee, he previously served intermittently as Chair or co-Chair of the CTLA Amicus Curiae Committee from 2010-2018. CTLA also has honored Boyle with its 2012 New Trial Lawyer of the Year award and a 2016 Outstanding Service to CTLA Award. Boyle practices in Burg Simpson’s Commercial Litigation and Appellate Teams, and he often assists with the Firm’s Personal Injury Team. Boyle has published several articles, awaits the 2019 publication of several book chapters (co-authored with Shareholder Brian Matise), and regularly presents on ethics topics at continuing legal education seminars.
