Lyon County, NV – Man Killed in Crash on US-50 near NV-341

Lyon County, NV (July 15, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in Lyon County on Tuesday afternoon. At around 1:50 p.m., on July 13, the Nevada Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on US Highway 50.

Reports from the NHP indicate that a 61-year-old man was traveling east on US Highway 50 in a 2017 Subaru Outback when his vehicle became involved in a collision near Nevada Route 341. The impact of the crash caused the Subaru to overturn. The man was rushed to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
