Ardmore, OK – One Killed in Explosion at Asphalt Express Plant

Ardmore, OK (July 16, 2021) – An explosion incident reported n Ardmore early Friday morning claimed one person’s life. On July 16, emergency crews were requested at the scene of an explosion incident at the Asphalt Express Plant.

Reports from authorities show that an explosion occurred in the Ardmore plant during the morning hours, which is located around 90-miles south of Oklahoma City. Although details surrounding the incident are limited, one person involved in the incident suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
