Burg Simpson Welcomes Attorney David M. Hill to the Firm
Burg Simpson is pleased to announce that David M. Hill has joined the firm and will be working in our Cody, Wyoming office as an associate attorney. Mr. Hill will be representing clients at Burg Simpson with legal matters that include business formation, contracts, real estate property, lease agreements, estate planning, personal injury, and civil litigation. With an M.B.A. and Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, David enjoys using his business background to find practical, strategic ways to help his clients.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, David worked as a judicial law clerk and judicial extern in Wyoming’s Fifth Judicial District Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, respectively. David also served as a Circuit Court Magistrate, District Court Commissioner, and Treatment Court Judge in Wyoming’s Fifth Judicial District.
Mr. Hill attended the University of Wyoming College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2019. While in law school, David worked as an intern with several prosecuting offices including the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., and Wyoming, Colorado’s Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and several County Attorneys’ Offices throughout Wyoming. During the course of his studies at the University of Wyoming, Mr. Hill was also honored to be the recipient of the John J. Metzke scholarship, George F. Guy scholarship, and UW Law merit-based scholarship.
