Attorney Michael S. Burg, the founding shareholder of Burg Simpson, has more than four decades of experience representing clients who have experienced the aftermath of catastrophic gas explosions.  On July 28th, Mr. Burg was interviewed by WJAC TV News about the massive home explosion in Tyrone, PA, that recently left one dead and five injured. Speaking to the reporter, Mr. Burg said that the community members should demand more answers from the gas company and local officials.

Michael Burg said, “They need to know about the kind of pipes, where the blast originated, and how the explosion occurred. One thing gas companies like to do is blame either the homeowner or an appliance, when in fact it usually has to do with a gas line that has been either fractured or is leaking.”
