Morgan Carroll has recently concluded six years of service as Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party, overseeing the highest number of Democratic electoral wins in the history of Colorado.  Morgan served as a legislator for 4 years in the Colorado House and 8 years in the Colorado Senate including as the Senate President, Majority Leader, and Minority Leader.  During that time, she championed legislation for workers, consumers and homeowners as well as for lobbying and campaign finance reform.  She began her legal career in one of the state’s first mother-daughter law firms.  She has been an attorney for 22 years with 17 years of legal experience in personal injury, workers compensation, civil rights and family law.  She has conducted hundreds of town hall meetings and led hundreds of seminars on how to be a citizen lobbyist.  She is the author of Take Back Your Government:  A Citizen’s Guide to Grassroots Change.

Morgan Carroll, who led the Colorado Democratic Party as the Chair for the last six years, stated she was ready to pass the torch to a new chair after accomplishing her electoral goals.
