A growing number of metal-on-metal (MoM) hip replacement patients are reporting serious problems with their Wright CONSERVE® MoM hip replacement systems. Manufactured by Wright Medical, Inc., the Wright CONSERVE® is a modular implant, consisting of a femoral stem, modular neck, and femoral head, mated with an artificial acetabular cup.
