Reno Woman Loses Life in Fire Incident on Mariner Cove Dr

Reno, NV (April 21, 2021) – A fire incident reported in the Reno area claimed one woman’s life on Monday afternoon. Just after 2 p.m., on April 19, firefighters were called to the scene of a fire on Mariner Cove Drive.

Reports from authorities show that a fire broke out on the second floor of a home located on Mariner Cove Driving during the early afternoon hours. A 47-year-old woman was located inside the home at the time of the fire. The woman was rescued from the second floor and transported to Renown Medical Center for treatment. Authorities confirm that the woman passed away shortly after arriving. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
