Michael C. Menghini

Michael C. Menghini’s practice focuses on construction defects, construction products liability and commercial litigation. His clients include homeowner associations, condominium associations, homeowners and business owners.

In October 2018, Mr. Menghini and co-counsel, Mari Perczak, obtained a $21.1 Million settlement on behalf of a Boulder condominium association related to fire sprinkler, building envelope, civil grading and drainage, and HVAC defects. Earlier in 2018, Mr. Menghini and Ms. Perczak finalized a $4 Million settlement on behalf of another condominium association in Boulder related to stucco and other building envelope defects.

In 2017, Mr. Menghini and Ms. Perczak obtained a $5.9 Million arbitration award on behalf of a 59-unit condominium association in Fort Collins involving various moisture management, building envelope, shear wall and civil defects. Also in 2017, Mr. Menghini and Ms. Perczak secured a $3.25 Million settlement on behalf of a 16-unit condominium association involving significant water intrusion, structural deterioration, stucco defects, and fire protection defects.

From 2016 – 2020, he was selected by Colorado Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” in the area of Construction Defect Litigation. When he lived in Wisconsin, Mr. Menghini was selected by Wisconsin Super Lawyers ® as a “Rising Star” from 2012-2015 in the area of Business Litigation. In 2014, the Wisconsin Law Journal selected Mr. Menghini as one of Wisconsin’s 26 “Up-and-Coming Lawyers.”

Mike enjoys spending his free time with his lovely wife, Maureen, and their four trouble-making children, Bernadette, Paul, Michael, Jr., and Joseph.  Mike is originally from Iron Mountain in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
