Gillette, WY (May 21, 2021) – An auto accident with injuries reported in the Gillette area caused expansive delays in traffic early Thursday afternoon. At around 12:34 p.m., on May 20, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Wyoming Highway 59.
Reports from authorities indicate that a collision blocked both directions of the highway during the early afternoon hours. The incident caused moderate delays in the area that lasted up to five hours. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
