Lakewood, CO – Injuries Reported in Car Crash at W 26th Ave & Wadsworth Blvd

Lakewood, CO (May 22, 2021) – At approximately 2:21 a.m., on May 22, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Lakewood area that ended in injuries.

Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue show that a collision between vehicles occurred on West 26th Avenue at the intersection with Wadsworth Boulevard during the early morning hours. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to remain at the scene for over 50-minutes as they worked to clear the roadway. EMS treated victims at the scene of the crash before transporting them to local hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
