Castle Rock, CO – Truck vs SUV Crash on I-25 near Happy Canyon Exit Ends in Injuries

Castle Rock, CO (June 15, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Castle Rock area ended in injuries. At around 6:20 a.m., on June 14, emergency crews were notified that an auto accident took place on Interstate 25.

Reports provided by the Colorado State Patrol show that a semi-truck and a white SUV collided on the southbound side of Interstate 25 near exit 187 for Happy Canyon. The driver of the SUV became entrapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by responding firefighters. The victim was removed and rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
