Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Colorado

Motorcycle collisions in the state of Colorado claim the lives of more than 125 people annually. Although motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles account for around 1% of all traffic on roads across the United States, riders are killed in nearly 15% of total traffic fatalities annually across the United States. Motorcycle accidents involving two or more vehicles are more likely to result in catastrophic and fatal injuries. Motorcyclists are especially vulnerable to the impact of other vehicles in collisions, to begin with because they have very little to protect them from injuries. Being struck by vehicles dramatically increases the chances of motorcyclists sustaining fatal injuries. Losing a loved one tragically and unexpectedly can have an overwhelming impact on surviving relatives.

When motorcyclists lose their lives in collisions, surviving family members are often left to deal with unbearable mental and emotional consequences. Many families are forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on funeral expenses, deal with lost earnings, and suffer emotional and mental consequences. When families lose loved ones in motorcycle accidents, due to the negligence of others, they should reach out to a Colorado wrongful death lawyer as soon as possible. Working with a knowledgeable and aggressive legal team can make a world of difference when it comes to your ability to protect your legal rights and get the justice and compensation you need and deserve.
