Butler County, OH – One Killed in Fire Incident on Colonial Mill ManorFires throughout the United States have a devastating impact on families. In some cases, material losses are overwhelming. Families who lose their homes, all their possessions, and essentially their livelihoods are forced to start over. As if the loss of homes and possessions were not enough, many people are harmed in these unexpected incidents. In far too many cases, victims suffer life-threatening injuries due to defective appliances, faulty wiring, and various other reasons. More than 40,000 hospitalizations are the result of acute burn injuries while more than 30,000 people require treatment at specialized burn centers. Many victims suffer burn injuries due to defective products and faulty appliances. Although we hope that everyone is able to recover from their injuries, thousands of victims end up passing away each year due to fire or smoke injuries.
