Lakewood, CO – Crash with Injuries Reported at S Wadsworth Blvd & W Alameda Ave

Lakewood, CO (July 25, 2021) – Authorities in the Lakewood area were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that ended in injuries late Thursday morning. At approximately 11:27 a.m., on July 22, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on South Wadsworth Boulevard.

Reports from authorities show that a crash between vehicles took place on South Wadsworth Boulevard at the intersection of West Alameda Avenue. The incident prompted crews to close the roadway as they remained at the scene for over 50-minutes. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the police.
