Colorado Springs, CO – Auto Accident at Hancock Expressway and Astrozon Blvd Ends in Injuries

Colorado Springs, CO (April 8, 2021) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a car crash on Hancock Expressway that caused moderate delays in traffic while leaving an unknown number of people injured.

Reports from authorities show that at around 5:39 p.m., on April 7, emergency crews were notified that a traffic-related incident took place on Hancock Expressway at the intersection with Astrozon Boulevard. The incident blocked the roadway, causing some delays in traffic as police and firefighters worked to clear the scene. Medics rushed to the scene and rendered aid to victims before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
