Aurora, CO – Pedestrian Struck & Killed by Vehicle on S Abilene St
Aurora, CO (August 14, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Thursday claimed one victim’s life in the Aurora area. On August 13, the Aurora Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on East Abilene Street.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 71-year-old woman was jogging on the sidewalk on East Yale Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle near the intersection with East Abilene Street. The woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident. She was declared deceased at the site of the accident. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
