Sheridan, WY – Two Killed in Motorcycle Accident on US Highway 14

Sheridan, WY (July 7, 2021) – Two people have lost their lives following a motor vehicle accident in the Sheridan area on Saturday evening. Just after 4 p.m., on July 3, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on US Highway 14.

Reports from the Wyoming Highway Patrol show that a 58-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were utilizing a 2000 BMW K1200LT motorcycle and a 2016 Indian Scout Sixty ATV when they were struck by a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, occupied by a family of four adults.

The two riders were ejected from their vehicles and thrown into trees. Both riders sustained severe injuries. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the victims deceased. All four victims in the Crown Victoria were transported to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
