Dog Bites in Wyoming

Every year, tens of thousands of people are injured in accidents on another person’s property. Many victims suffer debilitating injuries that require extensive medical treatment and hospitalization. Quite often, those involved in these unimaginable incidents are unaware of legal options available to them.

In Wyoming, premises liability cases are able to be filed in some instances where people are injured or killed on another person’s property. The injured party must prove that they were an “invited guest” to the property. Generally, bar patrons are considered invitees, or people who enter the property for business purposes. People who visit their friends’ homes are also protected. These guests are owed a duty of care from the property owner. When property owners fail to implement adequate security measures, and their guests are injured, they can be held liable for resulting injuries and damages. Working with Wyoming personal injury lawyers will ensure victims get the justice they deserve.
