Brighton, CO – One Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Bridge St

Brighton, CO (June 29, 2020) – Police continue to investigate an automobile accident that claimed one victim’s life on Saturday. Just after 2 p.m., on June 20, the Brighton Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on Bridge Street.

Reports from police show that a red Honda motorcycle was traveling down the Bridge Street off-ramp near Southbound Highway 85 when a pickup truck traveling in front of it dropped several objects out of the bed. The motorcyclist struck one of the objects and crashed on the road. The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. The BPD is trying to determine the cause of the collision.
