Sycamore, OH – Car Crash with Injuries Reported on I-71 near MM 12.9
Sycamore, OH (August 7, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Township of Sycamore ended in injuries. At around 4:05 p.m., on August 5, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 71.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a white 2019 Ford transit was traveling north on Interstate 71 near mile marker 12.9 when the vehicle collided with a concrete median. The Ford then swerved back into the lanes and collided with a maroon 2020 Kia Optima.
Two people involved in the accident were injured. A 50-year-old male was transported to Jewish Hospital for the treatment of injuries. A 38-year-old male was rendered aid at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
