Florence, KY (April 30, 2021) – A major fire incident reported on Wednesday sent several people to area hospitals with injuries. At approximately 1:30 a.m., on April 28, emergency crews were called to the scene of a fire at the Champions Club Apartment Buildings on Parkland Place.
According to reports, a major fire broke out at the apartment complex during the early-morning hours. The fire quickly spread through the complex, trapping some families on the third floor. Firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the blaze and rescue trapped victims. A total of eight people were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Around 70 people were displaced by the fire.
